Maria Immaculata Statue, Zsámbék

Opposite the palace is the Baroque Maria Immaculata Statue from 1739 which was probably erected by Miklós Zichy as a memorial for the casualties of the Plague. In Zsámbék, the bubonic plague killed half of the population. Today the memorial is in a bad condition, parts of the statue are missing.
